Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited for the post of Field Worker (One post) in a DBT funded project entitled “Germplasm characterization and trait discovery in wheat using genomics approaches and its integration for improving climate resilience, productivity and nutritional quality”.
The position of Field Worker is purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Regional Station, Wellington.
Only the candidates meeting the essential qualifications for the Field Worker post as prescribed in the notification will be interviewed.
Candidates must submit proof of experience, if any, along with other documents through email for consideration.
Salary/Stipend
The post of Field Worker carries emoluments on a fixed per month basis as indicated under “Emoluments (Fixed per month)” in the vacancy table.

Selection Process
After screening the applications, shortlisted candidates will be informed about the details of interview (date and time) by email.
Original documents of the candidates will be verified at the time of interview.
Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications will be interviewed.
If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.
General Information/Instructions
Applications are to be submitted in the enclosed proforma along with self-attested scanned photocopies of original documents.
Self-attested scanned photocopies of certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, degree certificates, etc., and a recent photograph pasted on the application must be submitted by email.
Proof of experience should also be sent by email along with the application.
No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
Candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties and relationship in writing through email so as to reach by January 27, 2026; if declared on the date of interview, such candidate will not be interviewed.
All other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the prescribed declaration duly signed in the format along with other documents through email.
Candidates have to strictly submit the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit by January 27, 2026.
