Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have M.Tech/ M.S./M.E. or equivalent in ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering)/CSE (Computer Science and Engineering)/IT (Information Technology) degrees or equivalent. They must also have B. Tech/ B.E./M.Sc. in ECE/CSE/IT or equivalent. Non-GATE/NET candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Desirable Qualification: Basics of wireless communications and machine learning. Coding Skills: MATLAB/Python.
- Preferred: Candidates with a qualified GATE/NET score in the relevant area for the JRF position will be preferred.

General Information/ Instructions
- The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of information, other documents and photographs submitted.
- The Institute reserves the right to accept application at any time, and consider candidates of exceptional credentials without applications. Qualification and experience may be relaxed at any point of time for exceptional candidates.
- Mere possession of the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate will be called for an Interview. The Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit and need of the project.
- Applicants in employment (private, government or any other organization) are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of interview.
- The first and foremost responsibility of the candidate is to fulfil the job’s requirements to complete the above-mentioned project in a timely manner.
- The association between the project investigator and the candidate can be discontinued at any time by giving one month’s notice in writing, either by the project investigator or by the candidate.
- Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program in the ECE Department, provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria followed by the selection process laid down by the institute.
- After qualifying the PhD admission/selection test, the candidate will be registered as a regular PhD scholar and eligible to draw the fellowship and other allowances as per the Institute rules.
- Hostel accommodation may be provided as per the Institute's rules.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written/interview.
