Eligibility Criteria
For Academic Assistant: Post-graduate with first class
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have a BSc/BA in Economics or MSc/MA in Economics or both
Desirable Qualification: Relevant experience either in academics or industry or an M.Phil (or higher qualifications)
For Academic Associate: Ph.D. in relevant area
Experience: Relevant academic or industrial job experience is preferred and may result in stipend increments
Salary / Stipend
Academic Assistant (No Experience): Rs. 27,500/- per month
Academic Assistant (With Experience): Increment of Rs. 1,500/- per completed year of relevant academic/industrial job experience, subject to maximum ceiling of Rs. 32,000/- per month at the time of appointment
Academic Associate (Ph.D. or equivalent): Rs. 33,000/- per month
Academic Associate (With Experience): Increment of Rs. 2,000/- per completed year of relevant academic/industrial job experience, subject to maximum ceiling of Rs. 39,000/- per month at the time of appointment

Maximum Age: Preferably below 35 years
Age Calculation: Age limit shall be counted on the last date of submission of application or the date of walk-in-interview (in case of walk-in only)

Job Responsibilities: Assisting faculty members in teaching (including evaluation, development of courses and teaching material, marking attendance and evaluation of participation in class), invigilation duty, research, and consultancy projects, MDPs, secretarial assistance, and other academic activities
Additional Duties: Can also be given other responsibilities by the Institute from time to time
