For all three Engineering Assistant posts, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Electrical or MEP) with minimum 55% marks and at least 2 years of post-qualification on-site experience, OR a 3-year Diploma in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks and at least 4 years of post-qualification on-site experience. IIM Mumbai Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
For Advt. 33 posts, the selection process involves scrutiny/ screening of applications by a Screening Committee, followed by a written test and/ or skill test and/ or interview, or any other assessment mode the Institute deems appropriate, for shortlisted candidates only.
For Advt. 34 (Engineering Assistant) posts, the selection process may include one or more stages such as a written test, skill/ competency test, and/ or personal interview, or any other mode of assessment as decided by the Competent Authority.
In both notifications, merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for the next stage, and the Institute may restrict the number of candidates called forward based on higher qualifications and/ or experience.
