For retired professors, the Basic Salary minus Pension will be applicable as per university norms. Selected candidates will not be entitled to PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, house rent allowance, dearness allowance, transport allowance, or any other allowance, and no TA/DA is admissible for joining or completing the assignment.
IIP Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Applications received in response to the notification will be shortlisted based on the qualifications and experience of applicants. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview for selection, or as per the merit directed by the competent authority. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by email to appear for the interview. IIP Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
- The engagement is purely temporary and on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year, subject to renewal based on performance.
- The consolidated remuneration will remain unchanged for the term of the contract, with no increment during the contract period, and is subject to deduction of Professional Tax/TDS as applicable.
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to work on weekends, holidays, or beyond normal working hours without extra remuneration.
- Candidates appointed cannot represent or advise others in matters adverse to the interest of the office, and cannot take up any other assignment during the contract period.
- The engagement may be terminated by the office at any time with 30 days' notice, without assigning reasons. If a candidate wishes to leave, they must give 3 months' notice. In cases of unfitness, insubordination, or misconduct, services can be terminated immediately without notice.
- IIP shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, damage, or injury suffered by candidates arising out of the execution of their work, including travel.
- IIP reserves the right to fill the advertised posts or otherwise. No correspondence will be entertained regarding postal delays, interview conduct/result, or reasons for not being called for interview.
- Candidates cannot claim any right to employment in the Institute during or after discontinuation of the contract.
