Eligibility Criteria
Project Scientist -III:
- Master’s degree in Science (Physics/ Instrumentation/ Meteorology/ Atmospheric science/ Atmospheric physics/ Geophysics (with Meteorology)/Electronics/Radio Physics) from a recognized university or equivalent with at least 60 % marks OR
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electronics/ Instrumentation/ EEE/ E&T) from a recognized University or equivalent. AND
- Seven years of relevant experience in operation and maintenance of Doppler Weather Radars/radar wind profilers/ radiometer. Processing, analysis and interpretation of Doppler weather radar/radar wind profiler data sets OR
- Seven years of experience in running NWP models (like WRF) and use of remote sensing observations for model validation/improvement
Project Scientist –II:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Atmospheric Science/ Climate Science/ Earth Science System and Technology/) from a recognized university or equivalent. OR
- Master’s degree in Science with Physics / Mathematics / Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Science/ Environmental Sciences / Geophysics (Meteorology) / Chemistry or equivalent subjects with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University or equivalent. AND
- Three years of experience in Earth Sciences/ Atmospheric regional/global chemistry transport modelling/ model development/ chemical data assimilation/ satellite data analysis relevant to air quality modelling/ experience in handling large atmospheric observations/modelling/ and satellite data and its analysis/ atmospheric chemistry/fog instrumentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with minimum 60% marks (equivalent CGPA) from a recognised University or equivalent OR
- MS in interdisplinary studies with minimum 60% marks (equivalent CGPA) from a recognised University or equivalent;
- Doctoral Degree in Science (Physics/ Instrumentation/ Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Atmospheric Physics/ Environmental Science/ Data Science). OR
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology Electronics / Instrumentation / EEE/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Mechanical/Aerospace/Atmospheric Sciences/Atmospheric Physics) from a recognized University or equivalent.
Project Scientist- I:
- Master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences / Meteorology / Physics / Geophysics / Mathematics with at least 60% marks from recognised University or equivalent. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Instrumentation/ Meteorology/ Atmospheric Science/ Electronics/ Radio Physics) with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or equivalent. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology (Electronics/ Instrumentation/ EEE/ECE/E&T/Radio Physics & Electronics) with at least 60% marks from a recognized University or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Atmospheric Science/ Climate Science/ Earth Science System and Technology/) from a recognized university or equivalent. OR
- Master’s degree in Science with Physics / Mathematics / Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Science/ Environmental Sciences / Geophysics (Meteorology) / Chemistry or equivalent subjects with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University or equivalent
Project Manager:
- Ph.D. in the fields of Ocean Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/Marine Sciences/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Environmental Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
- 20 years of experience in the relevant field.
Executive Head, IMPO:
- Ph.D. in the fields of Ocean/atmospheric sciences/Physics/ Mathematics from a recognized University or equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience in the project management.
Section Officer:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years administrative / Accounts/ purchase & stores experience (relevant to the post in a Govt. or Semi-Govt. Organization of which at least 3 years should be in a supervisory grade).
Upper Division Clerk:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of typing in English with minimum 30 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of Computers.
- 5 years experience in Administration /Accounts matters in a Govt. organization
