The notification announces 2 positions for the role of Deputy Manager – Startups under the IndiaAI Mission on a purely contract/consolidated basis. The place of posting will be New Delhi, with transferability to IndiaAI project locations as per IndiaAI’s existing policy.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Graduation in Business, Management, Technology or equivalent discipline from a recognized institution.
• Post-Graduation is preferred (e.g., MBA, PGDM, other relevant Master’s degrees).
• Minimum 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2–3 years of experience in any of the following:
  – Startup ecosystems
  – Deep-tech ecosystems
  – Innovation-driven initiatives
  – Incubation or accelerator programs.
• Experience in Government Startup Ecosystem is preferred (e.g., MeitY, State Startup Missions, Startup India, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the Indian Startup Ecosystem, including fundraising, incubation, acceleration and technology-driven entrepreneurship.

2. Skills & Competencies

• Proven ability to collaborate with startups, investors, mentors and corporate partners.
• Ability to design and implement scalable engagement models for startup growth and investment readiness.
• Proficiency in research on technology trends, startup landscapes and investment opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver projects on time under pressure.
• High competence in working with cross-functional groups; collaborative working style is essential.

3. Age Limit
