Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) is inviting applications for Apprenticeship Training Program in Optional Trades from Graduate/Diploma pass-out candidates.
Educational Qualification (Recognized by AICTE/UGC/GoI): B.Com for Finance & Accounts discipline.
Educational Qualification (Recognized by AICTE/UGC/GoI): B.C.A. or Diploma in CS/IT for Information Technology discipline.
Minimum age: 18 years; Maximum age: 25 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per the Govt. of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) categories.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply and candidates must fulfill all conditions as per the advertisement.
The cut-off date for eligibility criteria shall be 20.01.2026.
Those applicants who have passed the qualifying examination on or after 01.01.2023 shall only be eligible for applying against the apprenticeship position.
Salary/Stipend
Graduates (B.Com or BCA): Rs.18,000/- per month.
Diploma Holders (CS/IT): Rs.16,000/- per month.
The Apprentice shall not be entitled to any other benefit/facilities/allowances apart from the consolidated stipend.

Selection Process
The selection criteria will be based on the merit of final percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.
In case of candidates securing equal marks/percentage in the qualifying examination, the candidate with higher age will be considered.
Candidates have to upload their final marks in percentage (%) only and not in CGPA/CPI or Grades.
If marks are in CGPA/CPI or Grades, candidates must convert them into percentage as prescribed by the respective University/College/Institution, and proof of conversion will be checked/verified during Document Verification.
Applications where marks are entered in CGPA/CPI/Grades without conversion will be summarily rejected.
The shortlisted/selected candidates will be informed through e-mail and/or NATS portal for document verification/joining.
Schedule of document verification/joining will be intimated separately.
Medical fitness certificate from Government authorized doctor (Gazetted) not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of Central/State hospital is mandatorily required before joining.
The required documents in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies (10th/12th certificates & marksheets, qualifying exam degree & marksheets, proof of date of birth, valid caste certificate if applicable, passport size photographs, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card) are to be produced for verification.
Merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not ensure engagement as an apprentice.
Reservation for SC/ST, OBC and PwBD candidates will be as per rules; in case of non-availability of candidates in particular reserved categories, positions may be filled from other reserved/general categories.
For each selected candidate, registration of Contract of Apprenticeship with Board of Apprenticeship Training will be made between the Apprentice & the Company as per provisions of The Apprentices Act, 1961 (amended till date) and existing procedure of NATS.

If the date of declaration of result is not mentioned in the Mark Sheet, the candidate must submit a certificate mentioning the date of publication of result from the Principal of the College/Institute at the time of verification.
The candidature of applicants will be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates.
If at any stage it is detected that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has furnished incorrect/false information, his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence will attract immediate disqualification.
No Travel Expenses (TA/DA) will be provided to the candidates for document verification or joining or thereafter during the period of apprenticeship training.
No boarding or lodging facility will be provided to the apprentices engaged for apprenticeship training.
IREDA has no obligation to give regular employment to the Apprentices and they shall have no right to claim regular employment from IREDA on the basis of apprenticeship training.
This apprenticeship training shall not create any liability on IREDA for providing any job to the Apprentice and IREDA Management does not take any responsibility for any sort of employment/placement.
The decision of IREDA Management will be final and binding on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc.
No claim will arise for engagement if some vacancies are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
IREDA will not communicate to any applicant with respect to their non-selection.
IREDA has not entrusted/authorized any individual or organization to co-ordinate or liaison for apprenticeship training; candidates are advised to beware of touts.
