Government Industrial Training Institute Geedam is a government ITI run in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Where and How to Send

Applications must be made only in the prescribed format. The format is attached to the notice and can also be obtained from the Office of the Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute Geedam, District Dantewada (C.G.).

1. Fill in the prescribed application format, with a self-certified photograph, and mention the institute and the post/trade applied for (Guest Lecturer / Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (Hindi)).
2. Fill in the educational and technical qualification table and the list of enclosed certificates in the form.
3. Sign the affidavit attached to the form, on plain paper.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all qualification-related certificates.
5. Write the name of the institute and the trade on the envelope / application form.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

There is one post: Guest Lecturer for the Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (Hindi) trade at Government ITI Geedam.

Educational and Technical Qualification

• (10+2) examination passed from a recognised board, OR the old Higher Secondary examination together with the first-year examination of a graduation course passed from a recognised university.
• Speed of 100/80 words per minute from a recognised board / institution / Shorthand Typewriting Council. A skill test will be taken for the speed.
• One-year diploma/certificate in Data Entry Operator / Programming from a recognised institution, and a data-entry speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour. A skill test will be taken for the speed.
• Candidates who passed ATI / CTI / NVTI / RVTI / IToT from DGT higher training institutes will get preference in selection.

Age Limit

The applicant's minimum age must not be less than 18 years as on 01/01/2026. The notice does not mention an upper age limit or any age relaxation.

Residence

The applicant must be a native (domicile) of Chhattisgarh. No reservation rules apply to this engagement.

Honorarium

As per the directions of the Director, Employment and Training, Chhattisgarh, Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, the Guest Lecturer gets an honorarium of Rs. 140/- (one hundred forty rupees) per hour for training work, for a maximum of five hours per working day. The maximum honorarium is Rs. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand rupees) per month. The rate can change as revised by the government from time to time. Absence on working days of the month leads to a deduction from the honorarium as per rules, and the honorarium is paid only when budget is available under the head fixed by the government.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a merit list followed by a skill test and a speed test.

Merit List

• For posts where CTI/ATI is required, a merit list is prepared giving priority to one-year CTI/ATI certificate holders, on the marks of their technical qualification (ITI/Diploma/Degree).
• If no CTI/ATI certificate holder is available, candidates with the prescribed technical qualification are selected on the marks of that qualification.
• If a candidate holds more than one prescribed technical certificate (such as National Trade Certificate, National Apprenticeship Certificate, degree or diploma), the certificate/marksheet with the highest marks is used.

Skill Test and Speed Test

After the merit list is approved by the Joint Director (Training), Regional Office Jagdalpur, candidates will be called in the ratio 1:10 for a skill test and speed test. Candidates who pass these tests and get a place in merit will be selected.

Selection List and Joining

The selection list will be displayed on the institute notice board, the institute website portal and the district NIC portal. Selected candidates must accept the invitation given by telephone and complete the training work. The main-list candidate gets the chance to join within the period fixed from the date the list is displayed; after that, the next serial number in the list is offered the chance.

• Guest Lecturers are invited as per need or for a maximum of one training session. If training work or conduct is not satisfactory, the Principal / head of institute may decide to continue or remove the Guest Lecturer after giving an opportunity of hearing.
• Services end automatically when the government makes a regular, transfer or contract posting on that post; if such a posting happens during the process, the process for that post ends automatically.
• No leave except government holidays; no claim to government service will be accepted. The applicant also affirms in the affidavit never to claim a regular post.
• A candidate invited by more than one institute/trade/subject who joins at one place has the selection at the others cancelled automatically. Separate applications are required for each institute/trade/subject.
• Incomplete, unclear or incorrect applications will be rejected without intimation.
• Write a correct, clear mobile number in the form; the applicant is responsible if not reachable on it.
• The number of posts may be reduced, increased or cancelled. In any dispute, the decision of the Joint Director, Training, Regional Office Bastar Region, Jagdalpur / committee is final and binding.
• Guest Lecturers engaged will be subject to the final decision in case WPS 4836/2020 filed in the High Court of Chhattisgarh.
