Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Minimum Matric/Secondary (10th) pass from a recognised educational institution; Minimum one 05 (five) day training under the Directorate of Agriculture and Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, Jharkhand (mandatory); Knowledge of local language (Khortha and Santhali) is mandatory; Proficiency in cycling and climbing trees; Must be a local resident of Giridih district
• Age limit: 18 to 35 years (as on 1 January 2026)
• Age relaxation: EBC (Annexure-1) and BC (Annexure-2) men 37 years, Women (UR, EWS, EBC, BC) 38 years, SC/ST (men and women) 40 years

Other conditions:

• Must be a local resident of Giridih district; residents of the concerned blocks get preference
• Knowledge of local language (Khortha and Santhali) is mandatory
• Must be able to ride a bicycle and climb trees

Pay and Terms of Engagement
