Candidates must satisfy the NARL eligibility criteria 2026 in terms of educational qualification and age limit for the respective posts as on the closing date 27.04.2026.
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: Ph.D. in Physics/Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology/Earth Science/Environmental Science or equivalent from a recognised university with prior M.Sc./MS in relevant discipline having minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: M.E./M.Tech in RF, Microwave and Communication System Engineering in first class with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering in first class with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Postgraduate degree in Physics/Atmospheric Science/Space Physics/Meteorology/Earth System Sciences/Geophysics/Remote Sensing/Applied Chemistry with required minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA or relevant M.E./M.Tech with 60% along with qualification in CSIR‑UGC NET / GATE / JAM / JEST as specified.
