Note: The above vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease based on office exigencies. Reservation is applied as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended.
NFC Hyderabad Apprentice Eligibility 2026-27
Not eligible to apply:
- Candidates who have already undergone, or are currently undergoing, apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Government, PSU, or Private organization.
- Candidates with a post-graduate qualification.
Graduate and Diploma (Engineering) candidates must compulsorily register their names on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and apply through the portal only.
NFC Hyderabad Apprentice Age Limit
Note: Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) reservation must mention it at the time of NATS portal registration itself, failing which they will be considered under the General category. Original category certificates must be produced at the time of joining.
NFC Hyderabad Apprentice Selection Procedure
There is no written examination. Selection is conducted through a Walk-in-Interview:
- After applying on the NATS portal, candidates are shortlisted purely on merit basis.
- Shortlisted candidates are informed by e-mail.
- The Selection Committees of NFC review the applications and select candidates, as per the vacancies indicated, through a Walk-in-Interview.
- The date of commencement of training will be intimated to shortlisted candidates by e-mail.
The offer of Apprenticeship does not confer any right of employment in NFC. There is no provision for appointing an apprentice in NFC after completion of training, and candidates cannot claim the same.
How to Apply for NFC Hyderabad Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27
- Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: nats.education.gov.in.
- Register/apply for Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad using NATS Establishment Code STLHDC000003.
- Fill in all required personal, educational, and category details.
- If claiming SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) reservation, mention it at the time of registration itself.
- Upload all required documents/certificates on the portal.
- Submit the application on or before 16 September 2026.
- Keep the registered e-mail ID active and check it periodically for further communication regarding shortlisting and the walk-in interview.
Important: Applications received after the closing date, or found incomplete, are liable to be rejected. Take a printout of the online application form – it will be required at the time of physical document verification.
Documents Required (Physical Verification)
- 10th/SSC or Intermediate Board exam mark sheet/certificate
- Graduate/Diploma mark sheet and certificate
- Caste certificate and Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Medical/Health Insurance from a reputed insurance institution
- Aadhaar card
- Police Verification certificate from the Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police of the respective district
- Savings Bank account number and passbook
- Hard copy of the online application form
- Photocopies of all the above-mentioned documents
- 3 recent passport-size photographs
Note: Candidates should immediately start the process of obtaining a Police Verification certificate for the address on their Aadhaar card, as it is required on the date of reporting for joining. There is no specified format for this certificate. Selected candidates must also submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from an Assistant Civil Surgeon/Civil Surgeon at the time of joining.
Important Conditions
- Selected candidates must report at NFC, Hyderabad, and execute a contract for one year of training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and rules framed thereunder.
- Accommodation is provided by NFC subject to availability of quarters; otherwise, candidates must arrange their own accommodation.
- Selected candidates are entitled to stipend as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961.
- No TA/DA is admissible for joining, if selected.
- Where the apprenticeship contract is terminated for failure on the part of the apprentice to fulfil its terms, the apprentice must refund to NFC the cost of training as determined by the Apprenticeship Adviser, and will not be entitled to enter into another apprenticeship contract under the Act with any other organization.
- Suppression of facts by applicants leads to disqualification at any stage of the selection process; deviation from or non-conformity with the desired qualification during credential verification leads to summary rejection.
- Character and antecedents of selected candidates will be verified.
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up intended to influence the selection process leads to immediate cancellation of candidature.
- In case of any dispute, the decision of NFC Management is final.
