Eligibility Criteria
MBBS Degree from a recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship.
Registration with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India–New Delhi is mandatory.
One House Job (six months) in any department or minimum six months of post-qualification work experience is essential for all advertised posts.
For Medical Officer-STCS (NTEP): preferential qualifications include MD in Pulmonary Medicine/Internal Medicine/TB and Chest Disease/Community Medicine/Master in Public Health, one year experience in NTEP, and basic knowledge of computers and Nikshay.
For Medical Officer-MCH: preferential experience in Gynae & Obs/Paediatrics Department of a recognized hospital.
For all posts: CCC+ Course on Computer Concepts Plus for 120 hours is mentioned as preferential qualification.
Existing Medical Officers working on contract basis under NHM, U.T. Chandigarh are eligible to apply.

Selection will be through a walk-in interview to be held on 15/01/2026 at the Office of Mission Director, NHM, GMSH-16, Chandigarh.
Registration for walk-in will be done strictly between 9.30 AM and 10.30 AM, followed by interview; candidates reporting after 10.30 AM will not be registered.
Desirous candidates must bring bio-data on the prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials (from Matriculation onwards) and one recent passport-size photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Candidates must also bring original certificates for verification at the time of interview.
The Mission Director, NHM reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or even cancel the walk-in interview without assigning any reason.
