Eligibility Criteria
Qualification for Specialist (Medicine)
Essential Qualifications
- MBBS Degree with MD/DNB/Diploma in Medicine from Recognized University
- Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India - New Delhi
Preferential Qualifications
- Experience in relevant field
- CCC+ - Course on Computer Concepts Plus for 120 hours
Qualification for Specialist (Surgery)
Essential Qualifications
- MBBS Degree with MS/DNB/Diploma in Surgery from Recognized University
- Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India - New Delhi
Preferential Qualifications
- Experience in relevant field
- CCC+ - Course on Computer Concepts Plus for 120 hours
Salary/Stipend
- An honorarium of Rs. 2,000/- will be provided for one slot to each Specialist
- Each slot is of two hours per day
- Specialists may work for two slots per day in different health facilities of U.T, Chandigarh
- Maximum earning: Rs. 4,000/- per day (for 2 slots)
- The honorarium will be paid on monthly basis
- The honorarium will be paid from O/o NHM (Accounts Section) on the basis of number of slots worked by the Specialists and duly verified by concerned Medical Officers I/c
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: Upto 62 years
- Minimum age limit is not mentioned in the notification
Important Dates
Selection Process
- Selection will be done through Walk-In-Interview
- Candidates will be empanelled for providing specialist services under PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM)
- Registration shall be done strictly between 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by interview
- The Mission Director, NHM reserves the right to reject Walk-In-Interview without assigning any reason
General Information/Instructions
Terms & Conditions for Empanelment
- Specialists will be engaged on honorarium per slot basis
- Specialists will be temporary in nature and not an employee of National Health Mission (NHM), U.T, Chandigarh
- Timings of slots: from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 11:30 am to 1:30 pm (both summer & winter)
- Specialists may work in two slots in different health facility
- Specialists cannot claim for any regular appointment against any post in NHM
- If during the continuance of Specialists engagement, any liability is fastened on the NHM due to the negligence in the performance of their duties, the same shall be borne by Specialists and the NHM/Health Department shall not be responsible for the same
- Specialists will not be eligible for membership towards GPF/CPF/GIS etc
- No official accommodation, conveyance allowance, House rent allowance etc shall be admissible
- EPF deductions/ESI deductions and any gratuity are not applicable to him/her, and the Specialists cannot claim for the same legally
- No Casual leave/maternity leave/abortion leave/medical leave will be allowed
- The desirous candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the advertisement can apply
- No TA/DA will be paid for interview
