Eligibility Criteria for NIMHR Sehore Various Posts 2026

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Lecturer (DCBR) (Consultant):
  • Master Degree in Rehabilitation Administration (MDRA) OR
  • Master in Social Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Early Intervention (PGDEI) OR
  • Master in Social Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP) OR
  • Master in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (MASLP) OR
  • Master in Social Science with B.Ed. Special Education.
  • Experience: 2 years in relevant field.
  • Must be registered with RCI.
• Sign Language Interpreter (Consultant):
  • Graduate + Certificate in C Level/DISLI (Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/-) OR
  • 12th + Certificate in C Level/DISLI (Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/-).
• Supervisor (DCBR) (Consultant):
  • Master degree in any disability discipline OR
  • Master degree in Social Science with degree/diploma in Special Education.
  • Must have a valid CRR number issued by RCI.
  • Experience: 03 years post qualification experience in CBR.
• Resident Assistant Warden Female (Consultant):
  • Female candidate.
  • Graduate from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Diploma/Certificate in House Keeping/Material Management/Public Relations/Estate Management/Hygiene and Sanitation.
  • Experience: 03 years’ experience of handling hostels in a Government/Autonomous/Renowned Educational Institute.
• Paediatrician (Visiting Consultant):
  • MD in Paediatrics.
  • Registered with NMC/SMC.
• Activity Teacher (Part-time):
  • Graduate in performing arts/music or any equivalent qualification from a recognized University/institute/organization college/schools etc.
  • Experience: Minimum one year from a recognized centre/institute/school/college/reputed NGOs etc.
  • Nature of work: To work with the children of CDEIC and to set up a small music therapy room.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Maximum age limit will be 56 years.
• Retired Employees on Contract: Tenure of appointment on contract of retired employees should be maximum up to age of 65 years.
• Cut-off Date: The cut-off date to determine maximum age limit, essential qualifications and experience will be the last date of submission of application.

Selection Process

• Schedule of written test/interview will be as decided by NIMHR, Sehore.
• Scheduled date & time for document verification: As decided by NIMHR, Sehore.

• The remuneration will be consolidated in nature as determined by the competent authority.
• A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, and no other allowances will be admissible.
• Annual increment @3% shall be allowed during the term of the contract.
• Paid leave of absence may be allowed @1.5 days for each completed month of service.
• The term of appointment shall ordinarily be for an initial period not exceeding 3 years and may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years, with approvals as specified.
• The contractual appointment would be on full-time basis; no other commercial assignment is permitted during consultancy.
• The validity of the contract is subject to verification of character and antecedents of the candidate.
• The engagement can be terminated by the competent authority at any time by giving 30 days’ notice; similarly, the consultant/contractual staff may resign by giving 30 days’ advance notice or remuneration in lieu thereof.

• Activity Teacher (Part-time): Rs. 15,000/- per month (3 days a week, as per CDEIC norms).
• Remuneration is consolidated and may be regulated as per terms and conditions of the contract, with annual increment @3% during the term.
