- Essential Qualification: The applicant must possess Bachelor and Postgraduate (PG) degree in Engineering/Technology. B.Tech/BE should be in Civil Engineering or equivalent. M.Tech/ME should be in Water Resources Engineering/ Hydraulics/ Environment or equivalent.
- Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must have secured minimum CGPA/CGPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60 % marks in both Bachelor and PG degrees.
- In case of SC/ST candidates a minimum CGPA/CGPI of 6.0 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 55 % marks in both Bachelor and PG degrees shall be applicable.
- The selected candidate will be encouraged to register for Ph.D. as per Institute rules.
