Nature of Candidature
- Selection at this stage is purely provisional.
- Candidature can be rejected at any stage during or after the selection process if any inadequacy or deficiency is found.
- Candidature is subject to fulfillment of the terms and conditions laid down in Advertisement No. 27 of 2023-24.
- Mere participation in the interview does not reserve any right to selection.

How the OPSC Merit List Is Prepared
- A combined, discipline-wise merit list is prepared from suitable candidates (those meeting qualifying marks), limited to the number of posts advertised for that discipline/category.
- If not enough suitable candidates are available, the post in that category remains unfilled.
- Merit of suitable PwD candidates is considered across all disciplines, since PwD reservation applies on the total posts advertised.
Tie-Breaking Rules
- Higher marks in Domain Knowledge are ranked first.
- If still tied, higher marks in Pedagogical Skill decide the ranking.
- If still tied, the higher final score as per Table 3B of Annexure-A of the Advertisement is used.
- If the tie persists, the older candidate (by date of birth) is placed higher

Identity-Less Interview Process and Draw of Lots
- Like all OPSC interviews, this process is identity-less — no personal particulars such as name or roll number are disclosed to the Interview Board.
- Each candidate appears before the Board with a Code Number generated randomly by the system.
- Allotment of the Interview Board is done through a draw of lots, conducted by each candidate in the presence of all other candidates, for transparency.
- Draw of lots for the 1st sitting: 9.00 AM to 9.30 AM.
- Draw of lots for the 2nd sitting: 1.00 PM to 1.30 PM.
- Candidates who do not report before the draw of lots closes will have a Board allotted to them by another candidate present, through the same draw process.
