Eligibility Criteria
Essential qualification: MBBS plus MD or DNB in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine from a recognized board/university.
Experience counted only after completion of minimum essential qualifications; experience from reputed national or international organizations may also be considered.
All educational qualifications and caste certificates must be from recognized and authorized government bodies in the prescribed format.
Salary / Stipend
Monthly remuneration is Rs. 80,000/- per month plus HRA as admissible under ICMR project staff rules.
Increment of 5% will be applicable after every 2 years of experience as per project norms.
Age Limit (as on 18-01-2026)
Upper age limit for Project Research Scientist II (Medical) is 40 years.
Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for deserving or experienced candidates, female candidates, and SC/ST/OBC candidates.

General Information / Instructions
All positions are purely temporary and project-based under an ICMR-sanctioned Centre for Advanced Research Bone Marrow Transplant project, co-terminus with the project.
Project personnel will have no claim on any regular post in PGIMER or Government of India, and project service will not confer any right for further assignment, transfer, or absorption.
Benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Leave Travel Concession, and Medical claim are not admissible to project staff.
The Project Investigator/appointing authority may terminate the engagement at any time during the contract or its extension without assigning any reason.
Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification from the selection process.
Duration of engagement is up to 6 months initially, extendable up to 4 years subject to project requirement and performance review; engagement ceases automatically if not extended.
ICMR rules for project staff will apply to all appointments made under this project.
