Eligibility Criteria
- Blood Transfusion Officer (Level-11; Age 18–35 years): Recognized medical qualification included in I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956; five years’ experience in Blood Bank work after registration as Medical Graduate; registration with a State Medical Council.
- Store Keeper (Level-6; Age 18–30 years): Bachelor degree in Maths/Economics/Commerce/Statistics and MBA/Postgraduate in Maths/Economics/Commerce/Statistics/Finance from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Refrigeration & Air Conditioning/Horticulture) (Level-6; Age 18–30 years): Degree in respective branch of Engineering OR minimum three years diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute.
- Pharmacist Grade-II (Level-5; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation or its equivalent; Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution/Board; registered Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948. Desirable: Degree in Pharmacy and experience in dispensing and/or storage and dispensing of drugs in a reputed hospital/Institution or pharmaceutical concern.
- Receptionist (Level-5; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Degree from a recognized University; Postgraduate diploma in journalism/Public relations. Desirable: Experience in public relations/publications/printing/publishing; exposure to working on Personal Computer.
- Sanitary Inspector Grade-II (Level-5; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation or equivalent; certificate of Sanitary Inspector course from a recognized Institution; at least four years’ experience in the line preferably in a hospital of repute.
- Junior Photographer (Level-5; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation or equivalent; Diploma in Photography from a recognized Institute; two years’ experience in Photography in a teaching Institute/Hospital OR Matriculation and five years’ experience in Medical Photography in a teaching Institute/Hospital.
- Dental Mechanic Grade-II (Level-4; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matric with Science; Dental Mechanic course of two years duration from a recognized Dental Institution approved by Dental Council of India. Desirable: Two years’ experience as Dental Mechanic; special training/experience in crown and bridge chrome cobalt, myofunctional orthodontic appliances.
- Hand Prosthesis Technician (Level-4; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation; Diploma from I.T.I. or equivalent in trade of turner, fitter or metal worker with five years’ experience in making and fitting splints, braces or appliances for disabled people.
- Dark Room Assistant Grade-III (Level-2; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation or equivalent; Diploma or certificate in Radiography of minimum one year duration from a recognized Institution. Desirable: One year’s experience as Dark Room Assistant in a hospital.
- Animal Keeper (Level-2; Age 18–30 years): Matric with Science and two years’ experience in breeding and keeping of animals preferably in a medical or research Institution.
- CSR Assistant Grade-II (Level-2; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matric with Science and certificate course of Operation Theatre Assistant of one year duration from this Institute. Desirable: Diploma in Operation Theatre Techniques.
- Technician Grade-IV (Manifold Room/Plant) (Level-2; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matric/10th Standard with ITI certificate in the respective trade OR Matric with trade certificate from a recognized Institute/Board/authority with five years’ experience in the trade where ITI certificate is not available.
- Staff Car Driver Ordinary Grade (Level-2; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation or equivalent; valid Driving Licence for driving heavy vehicles; knowledge of motor mechanism and ability to remove minor defects; three years’ experience of driving motor vehicles (including heavy vehicles). Desirable: Three years’ service as Home Guard/Civil Volunteer.
- Laboratory Attendant Grade-II (Level-2; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: 10th class pass (with Science as one of the subjects) from a recognized Board. Desirable: Experience in Medical Laboratory.
- Technician Grade-I (Laundry) (Level-1; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation; ITI in respective trade with two years’ experience in the trade.
- Security Guard Grade-II (Level-1; Age 18–30 years) – Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board/University (relaxable up to Middle Standard pass for certain Ex-servicemen); prescribed physical standards and qualifying Physical Efficiency Test as detailed in the guidelines. Desirable: Service in Armed Forces/Para-Military Forces/Police; experience of performing security duties, preferably in a hospital of repute.
Salary/Stipend
- Blood Transfusion Officer: Level-11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/-) as per 7th CPC pay matrix.
- Store Keeper and all Junior Engineer posts: Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-) as per 7th CPC pay matrix.
- Pharmacist Grade-II, Receptionist, Sanitary Inspector Grade-II, Junior Photographer: Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300/-) as per 7th CPC pay matrix.
- Dental Mechanic Grade-II and Hand Prosthesis Technician: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/-) as per 7th CPC pay matrix.
- Dark Room Assistant Grade-III, Animal Keeper, CSR Assistant Grade-II, Technician Grade-IV (Manifold Room/Plant), Staff Car Driver Ordinary Grade, Laboratory Attendant Grade-II: Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,200/-) as per 7th CPC pay matrix.

Age Limit
- For Blood Transfusion Officer: 18–35 years.
- For all other advertised posts: 18–30 years.
- Upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission of online application form i.e. 16.02.2026.
- Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Central Govt. Civilian Employees, Ex-Servicemen, Widows/Divorced women/women judicially separated and not remarried, candidates domiciled in J&K, Defence personnel disabled, Service Clerks and permanent employees of PGIMER are as per detailed table in the guidelines.
Application Fee
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted from payment of application fee.
- SC/ST category candidates: Rs. 800/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable.
- All others including General/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs. 1500/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable.
- Application fee is to be deposited through online payment gateway available at the application portal using Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking (payment through UPI may be avoided).
- The cost of Application Form includes the fee for the Computer Based Test and is non-refundable.

Selection Process
- Candidates who successfully submit online applications will appear in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in English language only, on an all-India basis.
- For Group ‘A’ posts: CBT of 85 MCQs (85 marks) and Interview of 15 marks; total 100 marks with minimum qualifying criteria of 40% (General/EWS) and 35% (SC/ST/OBC).
- For Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts: CBT of 100 MCQs (100 marks) with minimum qualifying criteria of 40% (General/EWS) and 35% (SC/ST/OBC); no interview for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in CBT.
- Shortlisting will be done post-CBT for scrutiny of applications and document verification, using candidate-wise merit and prescribed ratios (3× or 5× of posts as applicable).
- For Staff Car Driver Ordinary Grade and Security Guard Grade-II, shortlisted candidates must qualify Trade Test/Physical Efficiency Test as per parameters given in the guidelines.
- Final selection will be based purely on merit: marks in CBT for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts, and CBT plus Interview for Group ‘A’ posts, subject to verification of documents and eligibility conditions.
General Information/Instructions
- Information relating to this recruitment including Addendum/Corrigendum, CBT notice, results, eligibility notice, provisional and final results will be displayed only on PGIMER’s website; no individual intimation will be sent.
- All applicants must read the Guidelines and Help Manual carefully before online registration and ensure that no column is left blank and all entries are correct; once submitted, entries cannot be changed.
- Candidature of applicants is purely provisional at all stages and may be cancelled if eligibility conditions are not met or incorrect information is found at any stage, even after appointment.
- Incomplete applications, applications without requisite documents, applications where fee is not paid properly, or where eligibility/age criteria are not met, are liable to be rejected without correspondence.
- No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by PGIMER.
- Roll Numbers/Admit Cards for the CBT will be available online only and must be downloaded from the website; they will not be sent by post.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in document verification or further stages of recruitment.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the applicant; candidates must be in good mental and bodily health as per medical examination requirements.

- Candidates must visit PGIMER website (www.pgimer.edu.in), check the advertisement and confirm their eligibility before applying online.
- Applicants should have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number, which must remain active throughout the recruitment process; these are required for initial registration and communication.
- Candidates must first complete online registration by filling mandatory details like Advertisement Number, Date, Name (as per Matriculation), Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID; these details cannot be changed once registered.
- After registration, candidates should log in using their User ID and password, fill the Online Application Form section-wise (personal information, qualifications, experience, and document uploads), and then proceed to fee payment.
- Application fee must be paid online through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card using the payment gateway on the application portal; fee is non-refundable.
- Candidates must upload legible scanned copies of required documents: educational qualifications (from Matric onwards), mark sheets, date of birth proof, category certificates, experience certificates, NOC (if applicable), etc.
- Photograph must be a clear passport-size coloured photo with light background, in .jpg/.jpeg format, 50–80 KB in size, showing the candidate’s name and date of photograph (snapped on or after 01.10.2025).
- After final submission and successful fee payment, candidates should take a printout of the completed application form for future reference; no changes are allowed after final submission.
