Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF Ltd), a Government of India Undertaking, has one post of Advisor – Electrical on contract basis under Advertisement No. 01112026. Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF Ltd) is a Government of India Undertaking with its Administrative Building at Chembur, Mumbai. It manufactures and markets Fertilizers and Industrial Chemicals, reports revenues from operation of around Rs. 18690.90 Crores and was given "Navratna" status in August 2023. Its manufacturing units are in Maharashtra at Thal (Dist. Raigad) and at Trombay (Chembur, Mumbai), with a national marketing network.

1. Fill in the application form in the format given at Annexure – I of the advertisement, with details of age, date of birth, work experience and so on.
2. Attach the filled application form to the email.
3. Attach scanned copies of the documents supporting age, date of birth and work experience, and the service certificate issued by RCF at the time of superannuation.
4. Send the email to [email protected] with the subject line given above.
5. Make sure the email is received by 16 November 2026 at 17.00 hours.

Candidates should have a valid email ID. It cannot be changed after the application is submitted, and all communication about the selection process will be sent to that email address.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

The single post is Advisor – Electrical on contract basis (1 post), advertised for ex-employees of RCF. The eligibility criteria are counted as on 01.11.2026, which the notice names as the cut-off date for determining eligibility.

• Retirement grade: The applicant should have retired from the post of Chief Manager or above from RCF.
• Experience: Hands on experience in Maintenance and operations in Electrical department within RCF for not less than 10 years.
• Educational qualification: The official notification does not specify the minimum educational qualification.
• Age: The applicant's age shall be below 65 years while applying. A superannuated employee shall be engaged as an Advisor maximum up to the age of 65 years.

Remuneration and Other Benefits

• An Advisor staying in RCF Township may retain the Township accommodation for a maximum of one month from the last day of the contract and will be charged ALF, water charges and electricity charges etc. as per company rules. In that case the remuneration is 70% of last drawn Basic + DA.
• Where company quarters are not available at the place of posting but bachelor guest house accommodation is, the guest house will be provided free of charge.
• Tax on township accommodation and other perquisites, if any, is borne by the Advisor. The payment is subject to TDS.
• Casual leave accrues at 1 day per month; the Advisor is also eligible for RCF Holidays.
• Facilities such as medical, TA/DA, Sports Club etc. are given as applicable to the Advisor's last regular employment in RCF.
• The Advisor will not be eligible for other benefits like PF, Gratuity, Earned Leave, Medical Leave, PRP etc.
• GST, if applicable, will be paid by RCF under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), and RCF will avail the Input Tax Credit.

Contract Terms

• The appointment shall be for a period of six months.
• The appointment can be terminated by giving one month's notice from either side.
• The appointment will not establish a relationship of employer and employee in any way.

RCF Advisor – Electrical Job Description

The Advisor – Electrical on contract basis performs the jobs described in the roles and responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:

• Daily follow up of all ongoing activities.
• Regular review of progress, briefing to RCF Management.
• Pinpointing the limitations/issues, shortfalls.
• Expert advice for overcoming the limitations.
• Plan of action for addressing the concerns.
• Any other job entrusted.

Selection Process

Selection for the RCF Advisor – Electrical post is through a Personal Interview. Candidates who fulfil the minimum criteria will be shortlisted, and only shortlisted candidates who are prima facie eligible, based on their application form, will be informed through electronic mode. The interview may be conducted through Personal Interview, Video Conferencing or Online Mode.

To qualify, candidates need a minimum average of 50% marks in the interview. Meeting the minimum eligibility does not by itself entitle a candidate to take part in the selection process, and RCF Ltd's decision on eligibility and shortlisting is final.
