- A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade B in the UGC seven-point scale.
- Five years of administrative experience as a Superintendent from a Govt. Institute/University recognized by the UGC, or a Medical College recognized by the MCI.
- Computer knowledge with a minimum three-month course from a recognized institution.
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects, or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects.
Educational Qualification: SDE (Civil) (Advt. No. NT-05/2026)
- B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or B.Sc./Bachelor in Civil Engineering from any recognized University approved by the UGC and AICTE.

SKAU Kurukshetra Recruitment 2026 Nationality/Eligibility Conditions
A candidate applying for SKAU Recruitment 2026 must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

SKAU Kurukshetra Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
As per the Service Rules, no candidate who has not attained the age of 18 years shall be appointed to any post in the University, and the candidate should not be more than 42 years of age as on the last date of application. Relaxation in the maximum age for various categories will be given as per Haryana Government instructions No. 22/06/2021-1GS-III dated 25.03.2022, issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Haryana, as amended from time to time.

For posts with negative marking (Assistant Registrar and SDE Civil), 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer, and no marks are awarded or deducted for an unanswered question. For all other posts, no marks are deducted for an incorrect or unanswered question.
Shortlisting for Physical Document Verification and subsequent stages is generally done in a post-wise/category-wise ratio of 1:5, based on merit determined from the Written Test and provisional Academic Achievement marks taken together. In case of a tie, candidates are ranked first by age (older candidate senior), then by alphabetical order of name, and finally by alphabetical order of father's name.

- Candidates must ensure their eligibility for the post(s) applied for before applying. Merely being issued an e-Admit Card does not imply that candidature has been finally cleared by the University.
- No other mode of submission of application, apart from online, is permissible.
- Applicants are advised to submit a single application against a post. If a candidate submits multiple applications due to any unavoidable situation, the previous applications will be considered rejected, and only the last successfully submitted application will be considered.
- Incomplete or defective application forms shall be summarily rejected, and no representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained.
- After final submission of the application form, no change will be allowed and no request for change of any particulars will be entertained by the University.
- Employees of Central/State Government or Central/State Govt. Universities/PSU/Corporations/Boards must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the competent authority of their parent department at the time of submission of the online application, or submit it at the time of Document Verification.
