Muzaffarnagar Anganwadi Karyakartri Qualification

Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the advertised posts. The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri is Intermediate (12th) pass or an equivalent qualification. Candidates holding a higher qualification, up to postgraduate level, will have their merit prepared on the basis of that higher qualification, with marks/grades converted according to the formula approved by the concerned board or university for grading and CGPA.

Residency Requirement

A candidate is eligible only for the vacant post of the ward/gram sabha of which she is a permanent resident. If an eligible candidate is not available in that ward/gram sabha, then a permanent resident of the concerned Nyaya Panchayat is eligible.

Category-wise Selection Priority

For posts in the same gram sabha/ward (urban areas), the notification lays down the following order of preference among eligible candidates:

1. Widow BPL (Below Poverty Line) candidate
2. Divorced/deserted BPL candidate
3. BPL candidate
4. Widow APL (Above Poverty Line) candidate
5. Divorced/deserted APL candidate
6. APL candidate

For a widow candidate, the death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Adhikari or the concerned Nagar Nikay, along with the family register (parivar panjika), will be accepted as proof. For divorced or deserted candidates, a valid legal order issued by the competent higher court will be accepted.

Residence and caste certificates will be accepted only if they are online, digitally signed certificates issued by the Tehsil and are verifiable online. Income certificates will be accepted only if issued by the competent authority under UP Revenue Department Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Ra0-9 dated 30 September 2011, and verifiable online. The BPL income limit is as redetermined under Samaj Kalyan Anubhag-2 Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14 September 2015 (as amended), separately for rural and urban areas.
