1. Deputy Jailor: 75 Posts
2. Assistant Matron: 04 Posts
Age limit: For Deputy Jailor: 21-30 years and for Asst Matron: 21-25 years, upper age limit is applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational qualifications: Candidates should possess a degree awarded by any University in India
Selection procedure: candidates are selected on the basis of preliminary selection test, Physical Efficiency test, written test, and interview
How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to download application from www.apstatepolice.org. website. Candidates have to submit the filled application form along with Photocopies of relevant documents on any working date from 01-02-2012 and 15-03-2012 at the respective police office of state.

Starting date for the receipt of application: 01-02-2012
Closing date for the receipt of application: 15-03-2012

As per the notification, the candidates who completed degree from the recognized university as on 26-12-2011 are eligible to apply for the deputy jailor vacancy.
yes any one can apply who passed 10+2, and age limit will 18-30, for sc,st,bc age limit relaxation is 5years

what is age limit for deputy jailor post for sc candidates

As per the notification, the candidates who are in the age limit in between 21-30 years as on 1-07-2011 are eligible to apply for the Deputy Jailor vacancy, in case if the candidates belongs to sc category, age is relaxable up to a maximum of five years.
I m from Bihar so may i apply for jailor post?
