BHEL Tiruchirappalli Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for 750 Artisan Vacancies: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli, has issued notification against recruitment of 750 Artisans in various trades. Names of Trades:
1. Fitter – 379 vacancies
2. Welder – 178 vacancies
3. Turner – 40 vacancies
4. Machinist – 57 vacancies
5. Electrician – 19 vacancies
6. Crane Operator cum Rigger – 60 vacancies
7. Instrument Mechanic – 05 vacancies
8. Furnace Operator – 12 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 27 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-04-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates need to possess Matric or SSLC qualification in addition to National Trade Certificate (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in relevant trade.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee and processing fee of Rs. 125/- in form of Challan which can be downloaded from website and must be drawn into Power Jothi A/c, No 30796267034 @ HE, Kailasapuram, Trichy-14 (code no.01363) in favour of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchirappalli at any branch of State Bank of India. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of Fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply only through Online mode before 25-04-2012 and after submission of online application candidates need to send the print out of acknowledgement slip along with copies of all relevant certificates and payment receipt, to the following address, Deputy General Manager (HR), HRM Department, Building 24, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchirapalli – 620014 on or before 30-04-2012.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to www.careers.bhel.in and select the Recruitment of Artisans link.
2. Select the link for downloading the Bank Challan in How to Apply segment of Notification.
3. Take print of Bank Challan and make payment at SBI.
4. Revisit the Bank’s website and this time select the Application link.
5. Fill all marked details carefully and click on ‘Submit Application’ button.
6. Take print of Application Form and send it to the above mentioned address along with all relevant enclosures.

As per the notification, the candidates who completed apprenticeship in the respective trade are eligible to apply the vacancy, the last date to submit the applications is already closed.

Educational qualification for the bhel recruitment notification is: Candidates possess Matric/SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker for the post of Fitter, Matric/SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) for the posts of Welder, Machinist, Electrician, Air Conditioning Mechanic and Instrument Mechanic and Matric/SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) trade for the post of Crane Operator cum Rigger.
