Delhi Public Library Jobs 2012 – Various Vacancies: Delhi Public Library has issued notification against recruitment of 31 various vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 30 days from the date of publication. Names of Posts:
1. Library & Information Assistant – 02 vacancies
2. Library & Information Assistant (Tech. Braille) – 02 vacancies
3. Library & Information Assistant (Tech. Braille) – 01 vacancy
4. Junior Stenographer – 02 vacancies
5. Library Clerk – 13 vacancies
6. Lower Division Clerk (Ty) – 03 vacancies
7. Motor Driver – 03 vacancies
8. Junior Library Attendant (JLA) – 05 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 years and 28 years for post with Sl No. 1 and between 18 and 25 years for the rest of the posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be the last date for receipt of application. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to refer to the notification for the details of post wise required educational qualification.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft from any nationalised bank drawn in favour of the Secretary, Delhi Library Board payable at Delhi. SC/ST/EXSM/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of qualification and experience followed by Written Test and Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt and copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Delhi Public Library, S.P. Mukherjee Marg, Delhi-110006 on or before 30 days from the date of publication.
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30 days from the date of publication
