HP TET 2017 – Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Complete Details: The Government of Himachal Pradesh has announced notification for conducting Himachal Pradesh (HP) Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2017. Eligible candidates may apply online from 01-08-2017 to 20-08-2017. Other details like educational qualification, selection process, exam fee & how to apply are given below…

HP TET Vacancy Details:
Name of the Posts: Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts/ Non-Medical/ Medical)/ Shastri/ L.T./ J.B.T/ Punjabi/ Urdu

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the HP-TET.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for HP TET should possess following educational qualifications:

For TGT (Arts): B.A/ B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or B.A/ B.Com with at least 45% marks(only for those who have passed B.Ed. Up-to 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30-08-2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed.
For TGT (Non-Medical): B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) & Special Education or B.Sc (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed up-to 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30-08-2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.Sc.(NM)Ed.
For TGT (Medical): B.Sc (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) & (Special Education) or B.Sc (Medical) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed up-to 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30-08-2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Sr Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.Sc.(Medical) Ed.
For Shastri: Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/ University recognized by H.P Government.
For Language Teacher: B.A. with Hindi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known) or BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) & Special Education or BA with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the CTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
For Junior Basic Training (JBT): 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Govt or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
For Punjabi Language Teacher: B.A. with Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or B.A with at-least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or B.A with at-least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure)Regulation issued from time to time in this regard or B.A with at-least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).
For Urdu Language Teacher: B.A with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or B.A with at-least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or B.A with at-least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulation issued from time to time in this regard. Selection Process: Selection will be based on Examination & Interview.

Exam Fee: Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs. 800/- for General & its Sub-Categories (Except PHH) and Rs. 500/- for OBC/ ST/ SC/ PHH categories through Payment Gateway Debit Card/ Credit Card.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.hpbose.org from 01-08-2017 to 20-08-2017.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online candidates should scan the copies of photograph.
2. Log on to website www.hpbose.org.
3. Select the “Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test”.
4. Read all instruction carefully.
5. Click on “New Registration” If you are not registered earlier.
6. If you are registered earlier then click on “Sign-in”
7. Fill all the details carefully & Submit the form.
8. Now take printout of online application for future use.

Last Date for Payment through Payment Gateway 20-08-2017
Download Admit Card from Board’s website 05 days before the Exam

Date & Time of Shastri TET 03-09-2017 from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM
Date & Time of TGT (Non Medical) TET 09-09-2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Date & Time of Language Teacher TET 09-09-2017 from 02.00 PM to 04.30 PM
Date & Time of TGT (Arts) TET 10-09-2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

      As per the notification of Himachal Pradesh (HP) TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) 2011
      required educational qualification for Language Teacher is
      BA with Hindi as an elective subject from a recognized University with 50% marks in
      Hindi or its equivalent.
      OR
      The candidates who have passed Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) followed by BA
      Examination in English and one additional subject may be treated as equivalent to BA
      with Hindi for appointment to the post of Language Teacher provided the candidates
      have secured 50% marks in Prabhakar examination.
      OR
      M.A. (Hindi) with 50% marks from a recognized University

      So i think u may be eligible for these vacancies.
