Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Civil Engineering Degree as per original notification dated 06/05/2025
- Qualification Cutoff Date: 12/03/2026 (as per corrigendum)
- Age Limit Cutoff Date: 27/05/2025 (as per original notification)
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess Civil Engineering educational qualification as per recruitment rules
- Desirable: As per original notification dated 06/05/2025
Age Limit (as on 27/05/2025)
- Maximum Age: 45 years for all categories (including age relaxation)
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of Gujarat norms for reserved categories
- Important Note: Under no circumstances should the age exceed 45 years as on 27/05/2025, even after applying category-wise relaxations

General Information/Instructions
- This is a corrigendum notification for increasing vacancy from 824 to 974 posts (addition of 150 posts from Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board)
- The recruitment rules, educational qualification, age limit, and pay scale for both departments (Narmada Department and Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board) are identical
- At the time of original certificate verification, candidates must indicate their preference order for appointment in: (1) Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department, and (2) Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board
- Once submitted to the Board during certificate verification, no change in preference order will be permitted
- Allotment will be made considering vacancy availability and candidate's merit ranking along with their preference order
- Important: Candidates appointed to Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board will NOT be considered as Government of Gujarat employees
- As per General Administration Department resolution dated 27/07/2018, no waiting list will be prepared for this recruitment
- Candidates who have not paid the fee earlier and whose applications were cancelled on 06/02/2026 can now pay the fee against their cancelled confirmation number instead of applying afresh
- For SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Class) Candidates: Non-Creamy Layer certificate based on financial year 2022-23/2023-24/2024-25 income is required, issued between 01/04/2023 to 12/03/2026
- For EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Candidates: Income and Asset certificate based on financial year 2024-25 is required, issued between 13/03/2023 to 12/03/2026 or between 01/04/2025 to 12/03/2026
- SEBC married women candidates must submit Non-Creamy Layer certificate based on their parents' income only (not husband's income), otherwise application will be rejected
- Certificate number and date must be entered during online application, and the same original certificate must be produced during verification
- Previous applicants will follow the earlier provisions for EWS and SEBC certificates; new provisions apply only to fresh applicants under this corrigendum
- All other terms and conditions of the original notification dated 06/05/2025 remain unchanged

- For Cancelled Applications: Candidates whose applications were rejected due to non-payment of fee can pay the fee against their cancelled confirmation number without applying afresh
