IMU Chennai Recruitment 2013 – 40 Faculty Positions: Indian Maritime University has issued notification for the recruitment of 40 Posts in Teaching Positions as Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science disciplines for our Campuses at Chennai, Cochin, Kandla/Gujarat, Kolkata, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam. IMU Chennai Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Vacancies: 40
Name of the Post:
1. Professor: 08 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 12 Posts
3. Assistant Professor: 20 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be not be above 45 years for Asst Professor Post, not above 50 years for Associate professor Post and not above 55 years for Porfessor posts. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess  Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or with 55% marks at Master’s Degree in the related subjects for Professor & Associate Professor post & A Master`s degree in related subjects with at least 55% marks for Asst Professor post with relevant experience mentioned as per post in the notification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
