Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2013 – MT Driver, Fireman Vacancies: Indian Coast Guard, Coast Guard Region (West), Mumbai has issued notification for the recruitment of 21 MT Driver, Fitter, Sarang Lascar and other vacancies. Eligible candidates can send their applications with in 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement. 2. MT Fitter: 02 Posts
3. Sarang Lascar: 01 Post
4. Spray Painter: 01 Post
5. Unskilled Labourer: 02 Posts
6. Fireman: 06 Posts
7. MTS (Peon): 02 Posts
8. MTS (Safaiwala): 01 Post
9. MTS (Mali): 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18-27 years for Post No.1& 2, 4 to 9, 18-30 years for Post No.3. The crucial date for determining the age limit is last date for receiving the applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent and Must possess valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles, Certificate of competency as Sarang from a Govt. recognized institute or equivalent, Should have completed apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institution, Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test, personnel interview and trade test.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format as given in notification along with attested copies of educational, technical, age proof, caste certificates etc, by super scribing the top of the envelope as “Application for the Post ____of”, to ordinary post only with in 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement.
Important Dates:
Date of Publication of Advt in Employment Newspaper: 27-04-2013 to 03-05-2013.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications is with in 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement.

As per the notification candidates should possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles in order to apply for the post of MT Driver(OG)in Indian Coast Guard.

As per the notification after submitting of Application candidates are required to take print two copies of application with number generated by the system and both copies of Print out application are duly signed with photograph and has to be carried to the recruitment center for the post of Navik in Indian Coast Guard.

As per the notification only Unmarried male Indian Citizens are eligible for the post of Navik in Indian Coast Guard.
