3. Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance – 20 vacancies
4. Instrument Mechanic – 05 vacancies
5. Electroplater – 05 vacancies
6. Welder – 15 vacancies
7. Painter General – 30 vacancies
8. Mason – 05 vacancies
For Two Year Training:
9. Diesel Mechanic – 15 vacancies
10. Foundryman – 05 vacancies
11. Mechanic Radio & Radar (Aircraft) – 10 vacancies
12. Power Electrician – 10 vacancies
13. Shipwright Wood – 15 vacancies
14. Plumber/Ship Fitter – 10 vacancies
15. Shipwright Wood – 15 vacancies
16. Rigger – 15 vacancies
17. Forger & Heat Treater – 05 vacancies
18. Crane Operator – 05 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 31-03-1992 and 31-03-1999. 5 years of relaxations has been extended to SC/ST candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post must be pass outs in Matric with minimum of 50% marks and must possess ITI in relevant trade with minimum of 65% marks.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates on the basis of qualifications would have to appear for Written Test. Further shortlisted candidates would be put to Interview and Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply through application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with one self addressed envelopes with Rs. 5/- stamp pasted. Filled in admit card and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Post Box no. 10035, GPO, Mumbai – 400 001 on or before 15-10-2012 through Ordinary Post only.

As per the notification there is clear information is given regarding the place of Apprenticeship for the selected candidates. It will be based on the decision of the recruitment authorities of Naval Dockyard. It can be probably in Mumbai only.
