SSA Chandigarh Recruitment 2012 – Resource Teacher Vacancies: Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society/ Mission, U.T., Chandigarh under State Project Director-cum-DIP(S) invites applications for recruiting 06 Resource Teacher Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 26-12-2012. SSA Chandigarh Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 06
Names of Posts:
1. Resource Teacher (Speech/Hearing) – 02 Posts
2. Resource Teacher (Visual Impairment) – 02 Posts
3. Resource Teacher (Learning Disabilities) – 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidate should have up to 30 years as on 26-12-2012. (Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Graduation in any stream with Diploma in Special Education/ D.Ed Special Education with specialization in relevant disability or B.Ed (General) with RCI PG Professional Diploma (Special Education) with specialization with relevant disability or B.Ed (Special Education) with specialization in relevant disability or integrated B.A. B.Ed and valid Registration Certificate with Rehabilitation Council of India.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay bank draft of Rs.300/- for General & OBC category (Rs.150/- for SC category) drawn in favour of State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society, U.T., Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their Essential Qualification, Additional Qualification.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in the http://www.ssachd.nic.in/ website, download application format and fill it with all given mandatory details, affix self attested passport size photograph on it, along with self attested photocopies of certificates, bank draft should be sent to the office of the State Project Director-Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society, UT, Establishment Branch, 3 rd Floor, Additional Deluxe Building, Sector-9D, Chandigarh on or before 26-12-2012.

As per the notification the application fees for the Sc category candidates is Rs.200. The age relaxation for the SC category is given upto 40 years.

As per the notification, the candidates who completed Senior Secondary/two years diploma in elementary education with ctet pass are eligible to apply for the vacancies.
