SWR Recruitment 2012 – Group C (Cultural Quota) Posts: South Western Railway invites applications from eligible candidates for 02 posts in Group “C” categories to be recruited in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 on Grade pay Rs.1900/- against Cultural Quota. Names of Discipline:
1. Classical Dance-Bharatnatyam: 01 post
2. Classical instrumental- Mridangam (Carnatic style): 01 post
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Minimum percentage of 50 % in aggregate is not applicable to those candidates who possess qualifications higher than matriculation such as HSC/Intermediate/Graduation/Post Graduation.
Application Fee Details: Unreserved and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 40/- in the form of Indian Postal Order from any Post office or demand draft from any Nationalize Bank drawn in favour of FA & CAO, South Western Railway, Hubli and payable at Hubli. (SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ Minority/ PWD/ EBC/ Ex Servicemen are exempted from fee).
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Assessment of talent in the relevant field.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in the notification. fill it with all given mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribed as “Application for Group ‘C’ post against Cultural Quota for the year 2012-13” on the envelope and send it along with DD and relevant copies of documents duly attested by a Gazetted officer to the following address ” To The Assistant Personnel Officer/HQ, Personnel department, South Western Railway Head Quarters, Zonal Office Building, Opposite Rail Nagar, Gadag Road, Hubli-580 020″ on or before 27-11-2012.
