Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: At least First-Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Essential (Project Scientist 'E' Mechanical Engg): Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in design, development, and qualification testing of Landing Gear System of military aircraft.
- Essential (Project Scientist 'D' Civil Engg): Minimum 07 to 10 years experience in preparations of SOC/DPR, design/drafting using AutoCAD/3ds Max/Sketchup, quantity survey, tendering activities on Defproc/GeM portals etc.
- Essential (Project Scientist 'D' Electrical Engg): Minimum 07 to 10 years experience in E-tendering/GeM, estimation of works, scrutiny of bills, works supervision & monitoring, knowledge of labour laws and safety management.
- Essential (Project Scientist 'C' Civil Engg): Minimum 03 to 07 years experience in similar areas as Project Scientist 'D' Civil.
- Essential (Project Scientist 'C' Electrical Engg): Minimum 03 to 07 years experience in similar areas as Project Scientist 'D' Electrical.
- Higher qualifications (Masters/PhD) are desirable and may get weightage in experience calculations (1 yr for PG, 3 yrs for PhD).
Salary/Stipend
- Project Scientist 'E': Rs. 2,01,794/- (Gross Salary per month).
- Project Scientist 'D': Rs. 1,24,612/- (Gross Salary per month).
- Project Scientist 'C': Rs. 1,08,073/- (Gross Salary per month).
- An annual increment of 7% will be provided on Gross salary after completion of one year of joining.
Age Limit (as on 19-01-2026)
- Maximum Age for Project Scientist 'E': Not exceeding 50 years.
- Maximum Age for Project Scientist 'D': Not exceeding 45 years.
- Maximum Age for Project Scientist 'C': Not exceeding 40 years.

Selection Process
- Administrative screening followed by technical screening (may be two levels).
- Technical screening involves shortlisting based on educational qualifications and suitability of experience.
- Shortlisted candidates may undergo a preliminary online interview (10-15 mins duration).
- Final selection is purely on the basis of merit/marks scored in the Final Personal Interview only.
- Minimum qualifying marks in the personal interview: 70% for all Unreserved vacancies.

- Only Indian Nationals need apply.
- The required experience is counted only after acquiring the essential qualification.
- Experience below Pay Level-8 as per 7th CPC (or equivalent) will not be considered.
- Candidates working in Govt/PSUs must upload a signed declaration about intimating their employer.
- Engagement is for an initial period of three years and extendable based on performance and project requirements.
- Selected candidates have a liability to serve anywhere in India.
- No TA will be paid for attending any stage of the selection process.
