Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Scientist-C): M.Sc. Life science/MPH/MHA/M. Pharm/Pharm. D with 4 years of experience in relevant area. Desirable: PhD degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 2 years R&D/Teaching experience.
- Qualifications (Research Assistant): Any Bachelor Degree from a recognized University. Desirable: Well versed in local languages (Punjabi & Hindi) and English (oral and written), experience in Cancer Registry.
- Qualifications (Lab Technician II): Intermediate or 12th pass in science subject AND 2 years diploma in medical laboratory technician OR one year DMLT plus one year work experience OR two years field experience (BSc degree treated as 3 years experience). Desirable: Well versed in local languages (Punjabi & Hindi) and English.
- Qualifications (Data Entry Operator Grade I): Intermediate or 12th pass with a speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour. Desirable: 2 years experience in EDP work in government/PSU/recognized organization.
- Qualifications (Multi-tasking staff): High school or equivalent from recognized institute. Desirable: Well versed in local languages (Punjabi & Hindi) and English.
Salary/Stipend
- Scientist-C (Non-Medical): Rs. 67,000/- per month (+ Rs 6700 HRA) = Rs 73,700/- per month.
- Research Assistant: Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- Lab Technician II: Rs. 20,000/- per month (+ Rs 2000 HRA) = Rs 22,000/- per month.
- Data Entry Operator Grade I: Rs. 20,000/- per month.
- Multi-tasking staff: Rs. 18,000/- per month.
- The salary is a consolidated sum without any other benefits and is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, etc.
Age Limit (as on 20-12-2025)
- Maximum Age Limit for Scientist-C & Research Assistant: 40 years.
- Maximum Age Limit for Lab Technician II & Multi-tasking staff: 30 years (may be relaxed in deserving cases).
- Maximum Age Limit for Data Entry Operator Grade I: 30-40 years.
- Age / Education qualification / Experience will be considered till the last date of the advertisement.

Selection Process
- Mode of Selection: Interview/Written exam or both (at Department of Pathology, B-Block First floor, Medical College, AIIMS Bathinda).
- Candidates will be interviewed/assessed based on performance and eligibility criteria.
- No TA/DA or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.

- The above posts are purely temporary for a sanctioned project and its duration.
- The candidate will have No right to claim for permanent Employment under ICMR/AIIMS, Bathinda or continuation of services in any other project.
- Reporting time for candidates closes at 10:30 AM on 09 January 2026, after which no additional candidates will be entertained.

- The tenure of the post can be extended according to the need of the project and performance of the candidate.
