Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: MD / DNB / Diploma in Palliative Care Medicine/ Anesthesiology/ Radiation Oncology / Medicine or MBBS with at least 6 months of fellowship or training or experience in palliative care. Age Limit: As per the government rules.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Certification or Diploma in Palliative Care
- Training and / or work experience in Palliative Care
- Excellent Proficiency in English both Written and verbal. Good proficiency in Hindi & Punjabi
- Willing to travel to visit patients at home care setup
Salary/ Stipend
- ₹ 1,30,000/- per month (consolidated)
- The salary is a consolidated sum without any other benefits, and it is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, etc. of the candidates.

Selection Process
- Interview/ Written exam or both (at Conference Hall No. 2, Auditorium, AIIMS, Bathinda).
General Information / Instructions
- The above posts are purely temporary for sanctioned projects and duration.
- No TA/DA or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
- Your appointment may be cancelled at any time in case of any misconduct, or unsatisfactory work or if the candidate is found ineligible later or withdrawal of funds by the funding agency.
- The rules and regulations of AIIMS Bathinda and/or the funding agency (Cipla Foundation) will be applicable to the selected candidate.
- Reporting time for candidates starts at 09:00 am on 10 February 2026 and the closing time to report for the interview is 10:30 am on 10 February 2026, after which no additional candidates would be entertained for an interview.
- The above posts are filled purely on a temporary basis, co-terminus with the project & the candidate will have no right to claim permanent employment under AIIMS Bathinda or the funding agency or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
- No inquiries shall be entertained in this regard after the due date.
- Post may increase/decrease as per requirement and at the sole discretion of Competent Authority, AIIMS, Bathinda.
- Candidate should bring duly filled form, self-attested photocopies, eligibility qualification mark sheets, degrees, experience certificate, qualifying degree registration with the statutory council (if applicable), and other relevant testimonials at the time of interview.

- This position will be purely on a temporary/contractual basis for the specified period of time and based on the project.
- In case of any unforeseen circumstances, if the project is stalled or postponed, the salary may be delayed/stopped for that period.
