Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) from a recognized University/Institute
- Applicants holding DNB in broad specialties as their essential qualifying education, must provide documentary evidence of its equivalence with MD/MS
- In case of application in the department of Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank, the qualification will be MD (Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank) or DNB (Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank)
- The candidate should possess degree from a recognized University/Institute
Experience
- Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered for the post advertised
- Experience certificate of previous institutions (if any) must be submitted
Salary/Stipend
- Pay Level: Level 11 of Pay Matrix
- Entry Pay: Rs. 67,700 per month
- Additional Benefits: NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) and usual allowances as admissible
Age Limit (as on the day of interview)
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 years as on the day of interview
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST: Up to a maximum period of five years
- Age Relaxation for OBC: Up to a maximum period of three years
- Age Relaxation for Orthopedic/Physical Handicapped (OPH):
- Up to a maximum period of 5 years for UR
- 8 years for OBC category candidates
- 10 years for SC/ST category candidates
- The date for determination of eligibility with regard to age will be the date on which the candidates appear in the interview/written test examination

Selection Process
- Selection will be done through Interview/written test examination in the various departments of AIIMS Deoghar
- Eligible candidates are requested to report at Registrar Office, Administrative Block, 4th floor, AIIMS Deoghar on the date of Interview (which will be notified later on AIIMS Deoghar website)
- Candidates must bring originals, photocopies of relevant documents and one passport size colour photograph
- No TA/DA will be permissible for appearing at the interview

General Information/Instructions
- The appointment is initially for a period of 1 year which is further extendable (depending upon concerned departmental assessment & availability of posts) for another 2 years (maximum period 3 years) as per Residency Scheme 1992, Govt. of India
- The appointment is on full time basis and private practice of any kind is prohibited
- Selected candidates may work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute as per discretion of the MS/Dean/Director
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify candidate
- In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from service
- Person with disability are required to produce the physically handicapped certificate (with degree of disability) in original issued by the Competent Authority at the time of interview
- Candidates are expected to abide by the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the Institute employees
- All disputes will be subject to jurisdictions of High Court Jharkhand
- Their engagement will be as per terms and conditions of Central Residency Scheme, their engagement is to be regulated as per the CCS (Temporary Service Rules)
- This appointment will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for permanent absorption in the institute
- If any candidate who joins the post and leave/resign/gets terminated before completion of the tenure, he/she may do so by giving one month's prior notice as per rules or by depositing pay and allowances in lieu thereof

- As per EWS guidelines, if vacancy earmarked for EWS cannot be filled up due to non-availability of candidates belonging to EWS, such vacancies is not carried forward to next recruitment year as backlog
- Candidate must submit the latest (FY 2025-26) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority which should not be older than one year as on last date of submission of offline application form
- Valid EWS and OBC Certificate issued during the period from 01.04.2025 till the last date of Application will be considered valid
- The EWS and OBC Certificate must be issued on or before last date of sending of Offline Application Form
