Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: 10th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + Two years' experience in Microbiology laboratory/ Tuberculosis Laboratory / relevant subject/field; Three Years Graduate degree in relevant subject/field + two years' experience in Microbiology laboratory/ Tuberculosis Laboratory / relevant subject/field

Other conditions:
- Distance educational qualification will not be considered.
- Selection will not be an employment on AIIMS Raipur pay-roll.
Desirable:
- Experience in collection/ transport/ handling of clinical samples including sputum and saliva
- Hands-on experience with handling of GeneXpert/ CBNAAT/TruNat / any PCR/RT PCR instrument
- Hands-on experience in Sample processing for TB diagnosis by smear microscopy, culture in MGIT, GeneXpert and LPA
- Maintenance of stocks, basic biosafety practices, accurate pipetting, preparation of media, autoclaving, and routine equipment operation
- Maintenance of detailed lab notebooks, reagent logs, basic data entry and analysis
AIIMS Raipur Project Technical Support-I Job Description
The job responsibilities assigned to the Project Technical Support-I include:
- Sample collection from suspected TB patients especialy Sputum and Saliva.
- Transport/Handling/ storage of samples.
- Clinical data collection and entry into CRF, software and maintenance in registers.
- Assistance in other laboratory related work in TB Laboratory.
- Completion of any work assigned by PI and Co-PI to ensure the smooth functioning of the project.
- Handling project-related documents.
Pay and Terms of Engagement
- Initial contract appointment for 3 months only
- Extendable up to a maximum of 6 months as per project need upon PI's recommendation
