• AP PECET 2026 Notification has been released for admission into B.P.Ed (2 years) and D.P.Ed / U.G.D.P.Ed (2 years) courses in Andhra Pradesh.

• Full Name: Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET).

AP PECET 2026 Important Dates

AP PECET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy course-wise educational qualifications, age limits, and physical fitness norms.

Educational Qualification

• For B.P.Ed (2 years): Candidates should have appeared in or passed a three-year degree examination recognised by any university in Andhra Pradesh or any other recognised equivalent university.

• For D.P.Ed / U.G.D.P.Ed (2 years): Candidates should have appeared in or passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent course recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Appearing candidates must produce their pass certificates at counselling.

Age Limit

• B.P.Ed: Minimum 19 years as on 01 July 2026 (no upper age limit typically mentioned).

• D.P.Ed: Minimum 16 years as on 01 July 2026 (upper age limit usually not specified).

No age relaxations are normally applied.

Physical Fitness Requirement

• Candidates must be physically fit and free from any deformity that could hinder participation in physical tests and sports activities. How to Apply for AP PECET (Step-by-Step Guide)

• Visit the official AP PECET 2026 portal: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and open the APPECET section.

• Click on “Fee Payment / Application Fee Payment” and enter basic details to pay the application fee according to category.

• After successful payment, note down the Payment Reference ID / Transaction ID.

• Click on “Know Your Payment Status” to confirm, then proceed to “Fill Application Form”.

• Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, course choice (B.P.Ed or D.P.Ed), and exam centre preferences.

• Upload scanned passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed size and format.

AP PECET Exam Pattern

AP PECET is purely physical and skill-based (no written exam).

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Separate for Men and Women. Includes events like 100-meter run, 800/400-meter run, long jump, shot put, etc. Each event carries specific marks.

• Skill Test in Games: Tested in chosen game (e.g., Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho). Marks added to PET for final ranking.

AP PECET Selection Process

• Stage 1: Physical Efficiency Test – Participate in all events; marks awarded on performance.

AP PECET Admit Card

Results will be declared online around July 2026 on the APSCHE portal. Check using the hall ticket number and date of birth. The rank card shows marks and the overall rank for counselling.
