Master's degree in Planning (M.Planning) / M.Arch. / M.Tech. (Planning)
Office Assistant (Electrical)
B.E. (Electrical) / B.Tech. (Electrical) from a recognized university
Wireman
ITI Wireman trade certificate
Office Assistant (Civil)
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Junior Operator
ITI Fitter trade certificate
Work Assistant (Drainage)

Basic knowledge of computers.

Salary/ Stipend
Fixed pay for first 5 years: ₹26,000/- to ₹49,600/- per month (depending on post).
After satisfactory completion of 5 years: Regular appointment in Pay Matrix Level-4 to Level-7 as per 7th Pay Commission.
Age Limit (as on 29 January 2026)
Minimum age: 18 years.
Maximum age: 35 years (relaxation as per Gujarat Government rules for reserved categories, women, disabled, and ex-servicemen).
Maximum age with relaxation not to exceed 45 years in any case.
Upper age limit 58 years for internal BMC employees.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on merit prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

ITI marks: 0.5 mark
Additional higher qualification: 1 mark
Widow female candidate: 2 marks
Computer knowledge certificate: 1 mark
