General Information/Instructions
- Their services will be liable to be discontinued from the establishment of the High Court, Bombay, without any notice or without assigning any reason therefor.
- Their temporary service on the establishment of the High Court, Bombay, will be liable to be discontinued as and when the requisition, if any, received from the respective City Civil & Sessions Court, Bombay, Court of Small Causes, Mumbai, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mumbai and District Courts in the State of Maharashtra or as and when regular selection process for the post of Clerk and Peon/Hamal on the establishment of the High Court, Bombay, is completed, whichever occurs earlier.
- Their temporary appointment on the establishment of High Court, Bombay, will not change their position in the Select/Wait List of Junior Clerk/Clerk-Typist and Peon/Hamal prepared by City Civil & Sessions Court, Bombay, Court of Small Causes, Mumbai, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mumbai and District Courts in the State of Maharashtra
- They will not be entitled to claim any permanency in service on the establishment of the High Court, Bombay, by virtue of temporary appointment and their services in the High Court will not be counted for any purpose.
- That their temporary appointment is subject to a written declaration by them to the effect that no criminal prosecution is pending against them nor have they been convicted by any Criminal Court.
- They will not be treated as on probation in Class, category or post or be entitled by reason only of such appointment to any preferential claim in future appointment to such class, category or post;
- If they will be subsequently appointed to the class, category or post in accordance with Bombay High Court Appellate Side Service Rules, 2000, in recruitment process they will commence their probation in such class, category or post from the date of such subsequent appointment.
- No Leave including Casual Leave will be admissible during the appointment and proportionate pay will be deducted for the absence period.
- The candidates has to make his residential arrangements in Mumbai.

- The candidates on the Select/Wait List of the Junior Clerk/Clerk-Typist and Peon/Hamal on the establishment of City Civil & Sessions Court, Bombay, Court of Small Causes, Mumbai, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mumbai and District Courts in the State of Maharashtra who are not appointed so far on the establishment of respective Courts and are willing to accept appointment on the above conditions may submit their written willingness through the concerned Principal District Judge of District Court and the Principal Head of Courts in Greater Mumbai to this office on or before 31.12.2025.
