Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent qualification notified by the State Government in the Gazette. Regular MBBS degree will be considered under Medicine.
- Essential qualifications: Degree in any branch of Engineering, Technology or Medicine.
- Experience: Two years practical experience in Engineering, Technology or Medicine in a reputed firm or government department. For degree holders from recognized universities, practical training during the university course up to a maximum of one year will be counted towards the required practical experience.
Salary/Stipend
- Pay Level 9 (63100-167800/-)
Age Limit
- Unreserved (Male) - 37 years
- Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class (Male & Female) and Unreserved (Female) - 40 years
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male & Female) - 42 years
- Candidates eligible between 01.08.2018 to 01.08.2025 based on the above age limits are also eligible, provided they meet other qualifications and do not retire during the appointment process.
- Regularly appointed government servants of Bihar Government get 5 years relaxation in maximum age limit for competitive exams, but limited to maximum 5 opportunities after 12.12.2022.
- Ex-servicemen get 3 years plus the period of defense service, provided actual age does not exceed 57 years on application date.

- 100/- for all candidates. Additional bank charges as applicable. If Aadhaar number not entered as identity proof, additional 200/- for biometric fee.

Selection Process
- Based on interview and educational qualifications.
- If number of candidates exceeds, shortlisting based on average percentage from Matric to minimum required qualification, calling five times the vacancies for interview.
- Interview: 100 marks, Educational Qualifications: 100 marks (Matric 10, Intermediate/+2 20, Graduation 60, Post Graduation 10).
- Diploma considered equivalent to Intermediate for marks.
- Marks distribution based on percentage multiplied by allocated marks.
- CGPA/Grades converted to percentage as per board/university rules or AICTE if not specified.
- Merit list based on total marks; tie resolved by age, then alphabetical order in Devanagari script.
- Physical fitness check by medical board after interview.
General Information/Instructions
- Government servants must forward application through proper authority, but joined ones not eligible.
- Must have knowledge of reading and writing Hindi in Devanagari script.
- Reputed firm defined as public sector undertaking/government factories or private factories with 500+ workers, registered with EPFO and ESIC, turnover 25 crore+.
- Experience certificate from factory owner, along with factory license.
- For private factories, certificate must mention 500+ workers.
- Candidates must be healthy, well-built, active, free from physical defects hindering duties.
- Medical check by commission's board after interview, fee 16/- cash.
- Reservation benefits only for Bihar permanent residents, claimed in online form.
- Required certificates for SC: Caste, permanent residence.
- For BC/EBC: Non-creamy layer from revenue officer/circle officer.
- Married women certificates in father's name and address.
- For EWS: Income and asset certificate as per notification, valid for one year.
- 35% horizontal reservation for Bihar women residents.
- No change in reservation category after online application.
- All certificates issued by last date 02.02.2026.
- List of documents for verification: Matric certificate/marks, Inter certificate/marks, Degree marks/certificate, PG marks/certificate, Experience certificate, Factory license, CGPA conversion formula, Character certificate, Creamy layer/caste/residence certificates as applicable, EWS certificate, Age relaxation certificates, NOC for employed, ID proof, Photos, Hard copy of application.
