What are the Eligibility Criteria?
The recruitment notification includes vacancies for three para-medical posts. Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications and age criteria to be eligible. The required qualifications vary according to the post applied for.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for ASI (Pharmacist) must have:
- Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
- Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
- Should be registered as a "PHARMACIST" under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Candidates applying for ASI (X-Ray Technician) must have:
- Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
- 02 years Diploma in Radiography from an institution recognized by Central or State Government.
Candidates applying for ASI (Lab Technician) must have:
- Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University with Science.

Age Limit
The age limit is the same for all three posts. Age will be calculated as on the closing date of online application i.e. 07 July 2026. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates is applicable as per Government orders.

The CISF ASI Para Medical Staff Exam 2026 is conducted in multiple stages. The Written Examination is objective in nature and conducted in OMR/CBT mode. Candidates who qualify the written exam are shortlisted for PST, Documentation, BVAT and Medical Examination at a ratio of about 5 (five) times the number of vacancies notified.
