Vacancy Details
Eligibility Criteria
- Retired Rajbhasha Officers from CSIR / Central Autonomous Bodies / Central Government Departments / Public Sector Undertakings who held a post at least in Pay Matrix Level-10 at the time of retirement.
- Experience in Parliamentary Committee inspections related to Official Language (Rajbhasha), conducting Hindi workshops, translation from English to Hindi, organizing Hindi Week, and knowledge of literary activities for promotion and propagation of Hindi language.
Salary/ Stipend
- Remuneration as per Department of Expenditure, Government of India Office Memorandum dated 09/12/2020 (Last basic pay drawn minus basic pension).
- No additional allowances (e.g., Dearness Allowance, transport facility, residential accommodation, residential telephone facility, etc.).
Age Limit (as on Walk-in Interview Date)
- Maximum 64 years and 6 months as on the date of Walk-in Interview (28-01-2026).
- Maximum age for holding the Consultant position is 65 years (extendable at discretion of Competent Authority but subject to this limit).

- Selection through Walk-in Interview.
- Decision of the Competent Authority, CSIR-NML will be final; no correspondence entertained.
General Information / Instructions
- Initial contractual appointment for six months, extendable at discretion of Competent Authority.
- No claim/right for regular appointment in CSIR/CSIR-NML.
- Applicability of Official Secrets Act, 1923 during tenure; prohibition on unauthorized disclosure of information/data.
- Adherence to CVC circulars dated 23.01.2017 and 24.06.2011 regarding professional ethics and integrity.
- Working hours: 9:15 AM to 5:45 PM (may be required on holidays/emergencies without extra remuneration).
- Mandatory attendance marking; possible deduction in remuneration for non-compliance.
- Candidate must be physically and medically fit for the job.
- No pending vigilance enquiry; no adverse character/antecedent report.
- Appointment terminable by office with 15 days notice; candidate requires 15 days notice to resign (modifiable at discretion).
- No online interview or date change requests accepted.
- No interim enquiry or correspondence entertained.
