Objectives & Roles
Young Professionals will support DAIC's mission as a Centre of Excellence for research, analysis, and policy-making in socio-economic transformation, reducing inequalities, and Buddhist studies. Key areas include:
- High-quality research on social and economic issues
- Developing national databases and disseminating knowledge
- Policy review, research, and advocacy
- Acting as a think tank for government, corporates, and NGOs
- Public involvement in research
- Training/orientation for scholars and government personnel
- Research on Dr. Ambedkar's vision, sustainable development, livelihoods
- International collaboration with knowledge hubs
Terms of Reference (ToR) will be specific, measurable, results-based, and time-bound as part of the contract.
Educational Qualifications
Essential:
- Graduate from any recognized University with minimum 55% marks
- Minimum one year experience in a reputed firm / Government of India organization, etc.
Desirable:
- Expertise in socio-economic transformation and Buddhist studies
- Knowledge of MS Office, media, IT, LAN, software/hardware, latest technologies
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Knowledge of GeM, CPP Portal, and GFR Rules
Leave & Other Conditions
- 8 days leave per year (pro-rated from joining date; no carry-forward; no remuneration for absence beyond this)
- Working hours same as regular DAIC employees (no extra pay for overtime/holidays)
- Confidentiality required; no publishing/sharing information without sanction
- One month's notice or salary in lieu for resignation
- Automatic termination for unauthorized absence of 8 continuous days
- Income Tax deducted at source
