Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Qualifications, Pay Scales and other Conditions shall be in accordance with UGC Regulations-2018 / AICTE-2019 / PCI notification No. 14-163/2021-PCI/12730 dated 08.08.2022 and U.P. State Government's rules.
- Candidates must possess Essential Qualifications as laid down in the Advertisement.
- For Ph.D. from foreign Universities: Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi required (exemption for MHRD nominated scholarships).
Salary/ Stipend
- Pay Scales as per UGC Regulations-2018 / AICTE-2019 / PCI norms and U.P. State Government rules.

Selection Process
- Screening and selection as per Governor Secretariat's Office Orders 2021 and UGC Regulations 2018.
- For Assistant Professor: Phase-I (Basic Academic Score + API Score: 100 + Written test: 40); Phase-II (Teaching skills assessment: 20 + Interview: 10).
- For Associate Professor / Professor: Shortlisting based on Basic Academic Score + API/Research Score (cut-off not less than 50%); Interview: 20 marks.
- API/Research Score calculation as per UGC Regulations 2018 (Appendix II, Table 3A for Assistant Professor; Table 2 for others), with NIRF-based publication consideration and scaling.
- Minimum API/Research Score required: 75 for Associate Professor, 120 for Professor.
- Final merit based on performance; waiting list of up to 2 candidates valid for 1 year.
General Information / Instructions
- University reserves right to withdraw/cancel/increase/decrease posts without reason.
- Reservation as per U.P. Govt. norms; including for Persons with Disabilities.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates in prescribed U.P. Govt. format required (issued on/after 01 October 2025 for OBC/EWS).
