DLSA Boudh Para Legal Volunteer Recruitment 2026 Overview
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Minimum qualification of matriculation or equivalent or above from any recognized institution and having willingness to work as PLVs.
- Essential Field / Mindset: Persons who do not look for income from services but have compassion, empathy, and concern for upliftment of marginalized and weaker sections; suitable candidates include Teachers (including retired), Retired Government servants and senior citizens, M.S.W students and teachers, Anganwadi Workers, Doctors/Physicians, Students & Law Students (till enrolment as lawyers), Members of non-political service-oriented NGOs/Clubs, Women Neighbourhood Groups/Maithri Sanghams/Self Help Groups (including marginalized/vulnerable), Educated prisoners with good behaviour serving long term sentences, or any other suitable persons.
Salary/ Stipend
- There is no provision of salary or remuneration or wages for the Para Legal Volunteer.
- Only an honorarium may be paid as per guidelines fixed by the appropriate authority.
- The amount shall be disbursed by the District Legal Services Authority.

- The applicant must have completed the age of 18 years by the last date of the application (18 February 2026).

General Information / Instructions
- The term of Para Legal Volunteer/Nyaya Adhikar Mitra is for one year from date of joining.
- PLVs shall be disqualified if they fail to evince interest in the Scheme, have been accused of an offence, become physically or mentally incapable, abuse position or misconduct rendering continuance prejudicial to public interest, or are active political enthusiasts of a political party.

- Applications must be in the prescribed format given in the notice.
- Include two recent colour passport size photographs.
