The District Red Cross Society Kangra (DRCS Kangra) is inviting applications for the recruitment of 3 posts: 1 Nurse/Male Nurse and 2 Chowkidar positions. Eligible candidates with a GNM/B.Sc Nursing degree (for Nurse/Male Nurse) or a Class 10th pass with 2 years of experience in healthcare (for Chowkidar) can apply offline by submitting their applications along with a ₹200 demand draft.

District Red Cross Society Kangra Nurse/Male Nurse, Chowkidar Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Nurse/Male Nurse: A qualified nurse with GNM/B. Sc. Nursing degree.
• Nurse/Male Nurse: Should be willing to be trained by the agency, as decided by MSJ&E.
• Chowkidar: 2 year experience of working in Hospitals/Health Care Centres/de-addiction centres.
• Chowkidar: Class 10th pass with experience of working in Hospitals/Health Care Centres/de-addiction centres.
• Before applying for the post, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills all eligibility conditions as mentioned against each post.

Salary/Stipend

• Nurse/Male Nurse: Monthly fixed emoluments of Rs. 15,000/-.
• Chowkidar: Monthly fixed emoluments of Rs. 9,000/-.
• The above appointments are purely temporary on contract basis and will be made initially for one year, with services extendable after review of work and conduct during the year.

Selection Process

• The shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for interview.
• Nurse/Male Nurse:
  • Merit list of eligible candidates will be drawn by allocating 70 marks on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in GNM/B.Sc Nursing.
  • 5 extra marks will be given to B.Sc Nursing candidates, making a total of 75 marks.
  • Top ten candidates will be shortlisted for interview of 20 marks.
  • 5 marks will be given for experience in addition to minimum criteria of 2 years (2.5 marks for each year). Total 25 marks.
  • The candidate who will get highest marks in the merit list of 100 marks will be selected for the post.
• Chowkidar:
  • Merit list of 85 marks will be drawn on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in 10th class.
  • 15 marks will be allotted as per parameters enclosed at Annexure-III (evaluation criteria of 15 marks).
  • The candidate ranking at first and second position out of merit list of 100 marks will be selected for the posts.
  • Preference will be given to ex-servicemen (Army personnel).

• Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary posts on contract basis to be filled up in District De-addiction Centre at Prayas Bhawan Dharamshala run by Distt. Red Cross Society Kangra at Dharamshala.
• Applications on the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary posts on contract basis so as to reach in the office of Secretary, District Red Cross Society Kangra at Dharamshala on or before 05.01.2026 till 5:00 PM.
• The shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for interview.

• The District Red Cross Society is a voluntary organization and in future there is no scope for regularization of any of the above post.
• While preparing merit list for above posts, no extra marks will be given for additional qualification.
