Selection Process
DRDE shall offer Paid Internship to students with good academic record with 75% & above marks (or ≥ 7.5 CGPA) from AICTE/ UGC approved College/ Universities.
Recent referral/ sponsorship letter from their respective colleges/ universities
Candidates will be shortlisted based on educational qualification and on fulfilling the eligibility criteria. However, mere applying with required documents or fulfilling the required criteria will not ascertain candidature/ paid internship to the candidates. If required, interaction will be done through telephonically / Video Conferencing (VC).
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed for interaction or offer of internship and they have to report Lab/ Estt. as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the internship offer letter.
Undertaking for adherence to Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923. Undertaking that intern will follow IT Rules and Regulations applicable for Ministry of Defence and its amendments thereof.
General Information/Instructions
Number of vacancies may change as per organizational requirement.
BOARDING/ LODGING: No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible.
PAYMENT OF STIPEND: Stipend @Rs 5000/-per month (fixed), will be paid to the selected candidates enrolled for six months internship, however stipend of the entire duration will be paid in two equal installments i.e., Rs 15000/- after completion of 03 months and 15000/- after completion of 06 months of internship.
DRDO/ Lab will not provide any accommodations to intern during the internship period.
Attendance, as per the Labs/ Estts process or Biometric/ Aadhar based will be marked by the candidates.
Working hours will be as per the Labs/ Estts time.
No leave except sick leave, with the production of valid prescription, will be given to the candidates.
Gazetted/ Closed holidays as applicable/ available in the Labs/ Estts will also be applicable to the candidates.
Student will require submitting progress report after 03 months and project report after 06 months/ completion of the course.
After successful completion of project and submission of report, Lab/ Estts will issue certificate to the intern.
Candidates will be essentially required to produce original copy of recent referral/ sponsorship letter from their respective colleges/ universities, certificates / testimonials w.r.t. qualifications, experience, age, ID, address for verification at the time of reporting.
Decision of Director DRDE Gwalior will be final in case of any discrepancy.
Please Note: Electronics items like smart phones/mobile phones/Pen drives/laptop/CD-ROM & any type of Electronics gazettes are not allowed to carry inside DRDE Gwalior Campus.
Offer of award of Paid Intern does not confer on the candidates, any right for absorption in DRDO.
No TA/DA will be paid for joining, if selected.
