Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Hospital Asramam Recruitment 2025
1. Super Specialist (Entry Level)
Essential Qualifications:
- A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956)
- MCh/DM/DNB or equivalent in the concerned Super specialty
- All post graduate additional qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council
Experience:
- Entry Level: No specific experience mentioned
2. Super Specialist (Senior Consultant)
Essential Qualifications:
- A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956)
- MCh/DM/DNB or equivalent in the concerned Super specialty

- Candidates with at least five years post super specialty qualification experience will be considered for engagement as Consultant (Senior Level)
3. Specialist (Junior)

- Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in concerned speciality after MBBS with TCMC registration
- For Casualty/ICU: PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine and registered with Medical Council
- All post graduate additional qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council
Experience:
- Three years experience in respective specialty for degree holders, OR
- Five years experience in respective specialty for Diploma holders
4. Specialist (Senior)
Essential Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma after MBBS with TCMC registration
- For Casualty/ICU: PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine and registered with Medical Council
- All post graduate additional qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council

- Seven years experience in respective specialty for Diploma holders
5. Senior Resident (Pay Level 11)
Essential Qualifications:
- For Superspeciality departments: DM/DrNB in concerned superspeciality is preferred over MD/DNB in General Medicine
- For Specialty departments: Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration is required
- For ICU: PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Critical care medicine and registered with Medical Council is required
- All post graduate additional qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council

Salary/Stipend for ESIC Hospital Asramam Recruitment 2025
1. Super Specialist (Full Time)
- Entry Level: Rs. 2,00,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Senior Level: Rs. 2,40,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Working Hours: 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM on weekdays and 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM on Saturdays
- Contract Duration: One year or till regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier
- Should attend emergency calls and visit as and when required
- Remuneration revisable as per ESIC Headquarters instruction from time to time
2. Super Specialist (Part Time)
- Entry Level: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month
- Additional Rs. 20,000/- admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing)
- Rs. 1,200/- for additional every hour, beyond 16 hours subject to the justification of competent authority
- Consultant (Sr. Level): Rs. 1,50,000/- per month
- Additional Rs. 20,000/- admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing)
- Rs. 1,500/- for every additional hour work beyond 16 hours (4 days × 4 hours) a week subject to the justification of competent authority
- Working Hours: 4 hours session per day × four days in a week (16 hours)
- Contract Duration: One year contract or till regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier
- Remuneration revisable as per ESIC Headquarters instruction from time to time
3. Specialist (Full Time)
- Junior Specialist (Level 11): Rs. 1,38,108/- per month (Approximate amount as per HQ instruction dated 08.12.2022)

4. Specialist (Part Time)
- Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- per month
- Additional Rs. 15,000/- admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing)
- Rs. 800/- for additional every hour beyond 16 hours, subject to the justification of competent authority
- Working Hours: 4 hours session per day × four days in a week (16 hours)
- Contract Duration: One year contract or till regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier
- Remuneration Revisable as per ESIC HQ instruction from time to time
5. Senior Resident (Pay Level 11)
- Total Emoluments (Level 11 as per VIIth CPC): Approximately Rs. 1,38,108/- per month (For PG Degree holders)
- An amount of Rs. 1,350/- will be deducted for SRs who possess only Diploma
- Contract Duration: One year contract or till regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier
- To work as per ESIC norms for Senior Residency
- Remuneration will be paid as per orders issued by ESIC Headquarters from time to time

Selection Process for ESIC Hospital Asramam Recruitment 2025
The selection process for ESIC Hospital Asramam Recruitment 2025 will be based on the following criteria:
- Walk-in Interview: The selection will be based on qualification, experience & interview
- The interview will be conducted at ESIC Model and Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam on 07/01/2026
- Candidates will be assessed based on their educational qualifications, post-qualification experience, and performance in the personal interview
- All original documents will be verified at the time of interview
- Only shortlisted candidates based on qualification and experience will be called for final selection
- The decision of the interview committee will be final and binding
General Information and Instructions for ESIC Hospital Asramam Recruitment 2025
- The applicants should bring along application in the prescribed proforma, all original documents including caste certificate (if applicable), one set of Xerox copies of all original documents, two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on the application) and the requisite application fee in the form of demand draft at the time of interview
- Application forms, printing, or photocopying facilities will not be provided at the interview venue under any circumstances
- Those who belong to OBC/SC/ST category should produce valid caste certificate issued by the Tahasildar/Revenue Divisional Officer
- OBC certificate should be in the prescribed form as per Government of India instructions which should certify that the candidates do not belong to Creamy layer
- EWS certificate must be valid and issued by Tahasildar/Revenue Divisional Officer in the prescribed form as per Government of India instructions
- Candidates applying in PWD Category must possess disability certificate issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Government Hospitals/Institutions
- Candidates who have already completed Senior Residency for 3 years in any Central Institutions are not eligible for the post of Senior Resident
- Private practice of any kind will not be allowed except for Part time Superspecialists/Part time Specialists
- No TA/DA will be admissible for Interview

- Canvassing in any form shall be a disqualification
- The Selected Specialist/Super Specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period of contractual engagement. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of error and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services
- The minimum sum assured per annum should be:
- Rs. 30 lakh for Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc.
- Rs. 20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynecologists, Obstetricians etc.
- Rs. 10 lakhs for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists etc.
- A copy of the Insurance & Premium and receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement
- The appointing authority reserves the right to terminate the service of appointee at any time even before the tenure without assigning any reason by giving one month notice or immediately in case of any disciplinary action
- Similarly, the engaged person will have to give one month prior notice before resigning or will have to pay an amount equivalent to one month's remuneration in lieu of the notice period
- The appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the offer/advertisement without assigning any reason thereof
- In case of selection, the candidate has to enter into an agreement with Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model & Super specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 200/-
- The selected candidate has to submit a security deposit of Rs 15,000/- as DD in favour of ESIC Account No 2 payable at Kollam at the time of joining, which is refundable after successful completion of contract & production of no-due certificate
- In case of applicants who are working in Central government/State government institutions, NOC should be obtained from the authority concerned and to be submitted in due course
- Part time Engagement of one contractual employee in two ESIC hospital at the same time shall not be permissible
- PWD candidate will be selected against suitable/notified posts as per government rules
- The hospital is in the process of getting accreditation for conducting in house DNB training courses in various specialities
