Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned subject from a recognized university/institution.

Age Limit: All candidates must be below 44 years of age for all categories as on the date of interview. Candidates who have completed 3 years as Senior Resident in any Government Institution are not eligible to apply.

Registration: Candidates must be registered with Karnataka State Medical Council (KMC) / NMC for both MBBS and PG qualifications.

Reservation: SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD vacancies are reserved as per prevailing guidelines of the Government of India. Candidates applying under OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PWD category must possess a certificate issued by the competent authority, valid for appointment in Central Government Institutions, issued before the date of interview. OBC candidates must submit the community certificate in the updated original as per Annexure-A prescribed vide Govt. of India, Dept. of Personnel and Training O.M.
